Infinite Abilities Assistance Dogs (IAAD) was founded by community leaders who recognized the need for a new and innovative service dog program.

With a combined 60 plus years of experience in the Assistance Dog industry, IAAD aims to create a more accessible and individualized dog placement and aftercare program to support the growing number of Canadians waiting to be partnered with an assistance dog.

IAAD is the first service dog program founded and based in Calgary, Alberta. While other programs may operate puppy programs in the region, their primary focus is not specific to Calgary. Furthermore, the only other registered program in Canada that trains diabetic alert dogs is in Ontario.

This unique positioning enables IAAD to provide personalized support tailored to the needs of Calgary’s local community while adhering to the highest standards of service dog training and client care.
